Abstract

This paper will examine if an anti-abortion law was implemented how it would be affected by the current state of rape law. It will look at the option for implementation of such a law, including recently proposed legislation that intends to apply the exception only in cases of "forcible" rape. This paper will consider how the rape exception worked historically, how they work in terms of federal funding today, and how, if abortion law were to change, they could or would work in today's state of rape law.
