Abstract
The relevance of the problem stated in the article is due to the fact that economic reform today cannot be carried out without the introduction of innovations and the development of innovative infrastructure. Despite a sufficient body of economic literature, questions regarding the theoretical and methodological aspects of the development of innovative infrastructure in order to increase the innovative activity of its residents and the commercialization of the results of their activities remain poorly understood. It seems relevant to systematize the structural composition of the subjects of innovation infrastructure, both from the point of view of residents of innovation infrastructure and from the point of view of independent entities.
The purpose of the article is to justify the theoretical and methodological provisions for the development of innovative infrastructure in the conditions of discreteness of its components at the regional level.
Research Methods. To solve the tasks were used: the method of expert assessments, methods of economic and mathematical modeling and graphical interpretations, comparative and graphical analysis, and correlation and regression method.
The structure of the study. The article systematizes the structural composition of the subjects of innovation infrastructure from the position of network cooperation of its residents and agents; a methodology for assessing the level of development of innovative infrastructure based on the determination of the regional development index with the justification of finding the level of business activity is proposed; a model for the development of innovative infrastructure based on discrete components has been developed, which allows to form cluster forms of its improvement.
Practical value: It is advisable to use the proposed methodological approaches when drawing up strategic development plans, forecasting economic development at the regional level, and making decisions on preferences of state authorities for subjects in assessing the performance of residents of the region’s innovative infrastructure.
