Abstract

At the time of COVID-19, we are realizing that the regulator has always considered time to be the determining factor of industrial and financial activities; time attributes a legal status to the relevant course of actions, to which it links important economic fulfillment.

We question if the Corona-virus disease requires a European regulatory intervention to avoid any impasse and, at the same time, to ensure the effectiveness of the safeguards (health, economy, savings), through a positive action of the Supervising authorities that promotes the combination of public and private mechanisms that to mitigate the negative effects of the time in which we live.
