Abstract

French Abstract: Les élections régionales françaises de décembre 2015 ont consacré les nouvelles régions issues de la nouvelle délimitation diminuant leur nombre de neuf. Annoncées comme devant former des blocs suffisamment forts pour peser dans le concert européen, ces nouvelles entités administratives semblent être plutôt des colosses aux pieds d'argile.

English Abstract: The French regional elections in December 2015 spent new regions from the new delimitation, decreasing their total by nine. Advertised as to form sufficiently strong blocks to weigh into the European mainstream, these new administrative units seem rather to be giants with feet of clay.
