Abstract
The Belt and Road Initiative has been one of the interesting news in recent International Affairs. People's Republic of China, after three decade of growth, try to reinvest their capital, energies and political influence, to reshape connections in Eurasia and between Eurasia and Africa (via the Maritime belt road). That is a new phase of XXI century International politics: China is currently building a new multilateral framework centered on Beijing,but what are the implication for the European partners? Which are the challenges and the opportunities for the European Union?
