Abstract

The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises constitute the overall industrial sector of the country. The purpose of this paper is to study the importance and performance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh, India. The liberalization of economy, while offering marvelous opportunities for the enlargement and progress of India industry including MSMEs, has thrown up innovative challenges in terms of violent conclusion. The study examines the problems and prospects of Micro, Small and Medium enterprises in Chittoor district. A sample of 192 micro, small and medium enterprises was selected from among the 1924 registered industrial units with the district industrial centre (DIC). A researcher tries to provide suggestions on regarding problems.
