Abstract

The physical classroom learning these days is not relevant for the current youthful ages. Internet and distance learning which is generally known as online education plays a vital role in the country's education system. It is undeniable that online education provides ample of benefits to young learners. College e-lecture annotation system presents an entirely new learning environment for students thus requiring a different skills set to be successful. Critical thinking, research and evolution skills are growing in importance as students have increased volume of information. It can be viewed as computer assisted learning and as pedagogy for student centered and collaborative learning. Early developments in e-learning focused on ‘content is delivered digitally. It is undeniable that online education provides ample of benefits to young learners.
