Abstract

A new type of coronavirus pandemic shows that the economic, political and health systems of many countries worldwide are vulnerable to global threats. This situation has revealed the need for integrating global threats into individual country risk assessment. Integration of global risks into country risk assessment will not only promote collaboration of countries for next global threats but also encourage countries to take precursory actions. Hence, this essay calls on consideration of potential threats by international credit rating agencies and lists factors that need to be integrated.
