Diagnosis of Cancerous Nuclei on Digital HIs: A Review

Abstract
Cancer is one of the deadliest diseases of the world and affects both men and women. In 2018, Cancer rate has risen to 18.1 million new incidents and 9.6 million deaths [17]. About 90.5 million of people were suffering from cancer in 2015. The modern medical image processing has several strategies and methodologies for detection and grading of cancer. Digital pathology is considered as the rising domain in current diagnosis system. Image segmentation is one of the important steps before classifying the cancer. The major problem arises when there are touching nuclei or overlapping nuclei for separation. This paper presents review of state-of-art techniques proposed for nuclei or tissue segmentation in digital HIs.
