Abstract

In this research paper, I am starting with counting the numbers of words in different parts of the Constitution including its Preamble, Annex and Schedules. As the Constitution has seen many amendments since its enactment in 1973, therefore, the number of words is to include footnotes as well. It will be an interesting study for judges, lawyers, law teachers, academics, mathematicians, statisticians, scholars, economists, social scientists, constitutional and legislative drafters, legislatures, state functionaries, etc.

Keywords: Constitution of Pakistan 1973, number of words, law, legislature, judiciary, Islam, Statistical Analysis, mathematics, numbers, words, analytical study, empirical study, jurisprudence
