Abstract

A Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) is a decentralized kind of wireless network. It does not rely on a pre-existing infrastructure, so that is known as Ad-hoc Network. In other words, routers in wired networks or access points in managed (infrastructure) wireless networks. With each & every node participates in routing by forwarding data for other nodes, so the determination of which nodes forward data is made dynamically on the basis of network connectivity and the routing algorithm in use. A mobile Ad-hoc Network is a self-configuring, dynamic network in which nodes are free to move.
