Abstract
The purpose of the study was to establish factors influencing the implementation of social protection projects in Kamukunji Sub County. The study was informed by resource based theory which was linked to resources availability. The research used descriptive research design. The population sample size was 198 respondents drawn from Kamukunji Sub County. The study findings indicated that the four variables that are managerial skills, Resource mobilization positively and significantly affect the implementation of social protection projects in Kamukunji Sub County. The study recommends that future studies should focus on other sectors. The study sought to find out the relationship between managerial skills and implementation of projects, from the findings the respondents agreed that managerial skills influence implementation of social protection projects, with specific emphasis on technical ability and interpersonal proficiency and conceptual expertise. From the findings, the respondents agreed that resource mobilization affects the implementation of social protection projects.
