AKTUALISASI NYATA BELA NEGARA SAAT PANDEMI COVID-19 (Real Actualization of the State Defense When the COVID-19 Pandemy)

Abstract

Indonesian Abstract: Bela negara pada umumnya selalu dikaitkan dengan upaya mempertahankan negara dari ancaman serangan militer dari negara asing. Persepsi bahwa bela negara identik dengan perang telah menjebak pemahaman bela negara sama dengan wajib militer.
Saat ini bela negara dimaksudkan untuk memperkuat rasa nasionalisme dan semangat patriotisme warga negara Indonesia ditengah ancaman berupa kejahatan terorisme internasional dan nasional, aksi kekerasan berbau SARA, dan yang sedang terjadi saat ini ialah pandemi Covid-19, virus mematikan yang sudah menyebar di seluruh dunia.
Bencana ini tidak hanya sekadar permasalahan kesehatan semata walaupun berpangkal dari masalah kesehatan, namun sangat kompleks menyangkut juga permasalahan sosial, ekonomi, politik, pertahanan dan keamanan. Bila kondisi ini dianggap sebagai medan pertempuran menghadapi bencana, dokter dan petugas kesehatan adalah prajurit yang harus berada di garis depan.
Namun tidaklah cukup hanya mengandalkan dokter dan petugas kesehatan saja. Juga tidak hanya meminta pemerintah untuk bertanggung jawab mengatasi bencana ini dengan berbagai kebijakan dan upaya yang telah dilakukan untuk mengatasi bencana ini. Gerakan masif seluruh komponen bangsa sangat dibutuhkan saat ini.

English Abstract: Defending the country in general is always associated with efforts to defend the country from the threat of military attacks from foreign countries. The perception that defending a country is identical to war has trapped the understanding of defending a country the same as conscription. At present the defense of the state is intended to strengthen the sense of nationalism and the spirit of patriotism of Indonesian citizens amid threats of international and national terrorism, acts of racial violence, and what is happening now is the Covid-19 pandemic, a deadly virus that has spread throughout the world. This disaster is not just a health problem, even though it originates from a health problem, but it is very complex regarding social, economic, political, defense and security issues. If this condition is considered a battleground in the face of disaster, doctors and health workers are soldiers who must be at the forefront. But it is not enough just to rely on doctors and health workers. Also not only ask the government to be responsible for overcoming this disaster with various policies and efforts that have been made to overcome this disaster. Massive movements of all components of the nation are needed at this time.
