Abstract

A pot experiment was conducted at Horticulture Farm, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU), Dhaka, Bangladesh during the period from October, 2011 to March 2012 to evaluate the performance of strawberry cultivars. The experiment consisted three strawberry cultivars viz. Festival (V1); RABI-03 (V2) and Camarosa (V3) following Complete Randomized Design with five replications. V1 provided the tallest plant (30.3 cm), maximum number of fruit (29.9), maximum weight of individual fruit (14.3 g), longest fruit (30.1 cm), maximum fruit diameter (19.3 mm), maximum fruit yield/plant (434.0 g) and maximum brix (12.6%) while the minimum was observed from V2.
