Abstract
This paper has two parts, connected.
In Part I, I have mentioned my own sentiments about a retiring judge of Hon'ble Lahore High Court.
Today, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Mujahid Mustaqeem Ahmed is retiring from the judgeship of Hon’ble Lahore High Court. He has been a member of district judiciary for 33 years before his elevation. Thus, to write something on his personality and judicial character will help younger generations in the field of law to see a person whom I call a legend and luminary in judiciary.
In Part II, I have made some suggestions for reforming judicial appointments and judiciary.
