Abstract

The paper aims to undertake a comprehensive comparative appraisal of the current trends in designing and conducting youth strategies and policies in Bulgaria as an EU Member State and Kazakhstan being an initiator of the Eurasian Economic Union. The situation of young people in both countries, the rationale, areas and tools of youth policies are analyzed. The objective is to stimulate a deeper way of thinking about youth policy and learn from each other’s experience and best practices in order to improve the effectiveness of youth policy making.
