Abstract
This is a study to check the awareness of university teachers in India on some of the terms, concepts, norms and regulations related to research. It is conducted among 39 participants from various parts of India from across 11 disciplines. The study shows that the research awareness has to be improved among the university teachers. The study is done on a 10 point scale.
