Abstract

The Architecture of Time in the Observability Horizon Framework extends the Observability Horizon Framework (OHF) into a model of cosmic temporality.

The paper proposes that within a single universe, called a domain, matter follows multiple simultaneous trajectories of time. Some matter moves forward in global expansion (Ascent). Some enters localized gravitational collapse toward black hole singularities (Descent). After crossing the singularity, that same matter begins new Ascent in child universes. Time in OHF is therefore multi-trajectory, causal, and bounded by what any observer can access.

Each observer’s “now” is set by their observability horizon, the limit of what can be seen or influenced. The apparent age of the universe becomes a visible duration rather than an absolute quantity, determined by an observer’s position relative to their horizon. This dissolves the idea of a universal cosmic “now” and offers an alternative explanation for the uniformity of the cosmic microwave background without invoking inflation.

The paper introduces a structured Test Strategy identifying empirical conditions that could falsify OHF. These include observations of causal-limit violations, detection of inflationary gravitational-wave signatures, or evidence that cosmic time is globally synchronized. By tying relativity, horizons, and observer-dependent time into a single structure, the work reframes time itself as a measurable and testable feature of cosmology.

This note extends the discussion of time in OHF from the cosmic scale to the human scale. It outlines how the same causal boundaries that define cosmic time also shape perception and experience, showing that the architecture of “now” operates consistently across all layers of observation. The companion does not revise or replace the main paper; it serves as a concise reflection on the universality of OHF’s temporal structure.

The combined work presents a conceptual interpretation intended to stimulate further theoretical and mathematical development. Researchers are invited to formalize, critique, or extend the framework.
