Abstract
This paper provides suggestions for colleges about how to improve risk-management procedures, especially regarding students, in light of various task force reports issued in response to the tragedy at Virginia Tech. Designed primarily for university student affairs professionals, the essay emphasizes the importance of collaboration and training.
