Abstract

Statistical significance criteria of OECD/PISA are misleading because several sources of systematic bias and uncertainty are quantitatively more important than the standard errors communicated in the official reports. This is a summary of a detailed report that has appeared in German (Die Insignifikanz signifikanter Unterschiede).
