Abstract

This article addresses legal and policy issues regarding hazing activities that are depicted on the internet. It briefly addresses potential liability for universities, university officials, fraternitys and groups, and individual students. The article also provides guidance for universities about how to send clear anti-hazing messages to students and urges university officials to educate students about the consequences of posting evidence of illegal and inappropriate conduct online.
