Abstract

This Paper examines requests for interpretation of decisions or arbitral awards before the international court of justice (ICJ) and arbitral tribunals. The paper analysis the necessary conditions for a State to submit such a request and the related procedural aspects. The author explains the reasons why courts and tribunals are reluctant to accept such request for interpretation.
