Abstract

Legal scholarship is becoming increasingly interdisciplinary. This article explores some possible implications for academic reference librarians and suggests a method for gathering statistics to better understand the research needs of law faculty. The author develops a reference question classification scheme and analyzes one year of faculty research requests at the University of Washington School of Law's Gallagher Law Library.
