Abstract

This Article first seeks to provide a brief overview of challenges emerging from the rapid proliferation of RTAs. Second, it tracks India’s engagement in RTAs and the direction it seems to be taking with reference to RTAs. Finally, it attempts to draw a checklist of issues that need to be considered for the development of a coherent policy framework for India’s trade negotiations.
