Abstract

This Article is an exploration of Aboriginal and treaty rights strategies for protecting Indigenous environmental rights in Canada. The authors argue that constitutionally protected Aboriginal and treaty rights to hunt, fish and trap include an implicit right to conservation of the resources on which such rights depend.
