Abstract

In this Article, Professor Alford, who served at the time as the general editor of International Lawyer, discusses international law developments that took place during 2002, including the Homeland Security Act of 2002, the entry into force of the Rome Statute for the International Criminal Court, the decisions in several cases involving international litigation and arbitration, and the WTO’s Dispute Settlement Body’s significantly increased filings over previous years.
