Abstract
In this article, we posed the following questions: Has the relationship between the Schools of Business and its professors in Colombia changed over the last 15 years? If, effectively, it has, why have these changes appeared? In seeking answers to these questions, we reviewed literature on organizational theory and we observed the experience of The University of the Andes School of Management. As a result of this review, we proposed to idea of the coexistence of Isomorphic processes in organizations along with the presence of the mechanisms that facilitate the development of these processes. Our thinking led us to emphasize the importance of organizational learning for the successful outcome of these processes.
