Abstract

Based on our exploratory investigation, we believe that liberalization of existing copyright practices is necessary. Copyrights no longer encourage innovation. Rather, we believe radical approaches or "hidden" opportunities, such as the Potato System, will be more effective, in this digital age, at yielding greater benefit to the creator and, thus, encouraging media industry innovation and heightened creativity.
