Abstract

Software testing is a critical activity in software development lifecycle which is highly effective on the customer satisfaction. The main idea of this paper is that applying a sound test documentation is a very important and seminal factor for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of test execution. This idea is examined by using the "IEEE standard for software test documentation" in a practical software testing project. The final section of the paper has been dedicated to present the testing results of sequential versions of STB software and comparison of them.
