Abstract

Presentation Materials illustrating how law professor has, following the recommendations of Carnegie Foundations Educating Lawyers Report (2007, and Best Practices for Legal Education (2007), integrated exercises, questions, and hypotheticals into doctrinal course (civil procedure) to challenge students to consider "what kind of lawyer they want to be," what are their values, how they will handle temptations to compromise value, and the importance of preparing to know one's sense of a professional set of guidelines one will follow, to ensure one's own satisfaction as a lawyer -- and to develop professional reputation worthy of respect.
