Abstract

The Spanish Civil Procedure Act of 2000 included important changes as regards the way civil procedure is organized in Spain. Precautionary measures is one of the most interesting areas where changes were included. This article studies in a critical manner the regulation embodied in the light of new developments happened in this area in the major European Union systems of civil procedure.
