Abstract
International Commercial Arbitration is a flourishing institution in Europe. Almost all EU Member States have enacted new Arbitration Laws during the last decade. Nevertheless, despite this positive situation, some problems exist remain within the EU as regards arbitration. The institution is outside the process of harmonization of Law undertaken in Europe and some differences remain in the new legislation. This article analyzes some of the mos relevant new Arbitration Acts enacted in Europe since 2005 and their position as to some trendy topics of international commercial arbitration. The final response is positive though some difficulties and perils remain ahead.
