Abstract

In today’s predominantly technology-driven businesses, knowledge workers are the backbone of organisations, and are crucial for their survival, sustenance, and growth. In this paper, we have developed a conceptual and propose that the elements of Top Management’s peripheral vision are associated with the four frames of Bolman and Deal’s leadership framework, and consequently influence the individual organizational identification pattern of the knowledge workforce. The significance of these associations would be critical in managing the knowledge workforce that is rarely motivated and managed by traditional management styles. These three constructs are significant in formulating effective human resource policies to arrest growing attrition, and to promote congenial and intellectual organisational "eco-systems" for business growth.
