Abstract
All over the world , half a dozen fields of design , of creativity, of innovation are split among dozens of academic departments in universities and research labs and among dozens of buildings, sites, and departments in corporations. If you want to master many, most, or all of these Creativity Sciences (also called Novelty Sciences) or announce results to many, most, or all of them, you have to visit dozens of places, sites, people and institutions or publish in dozens of journals. Many of these Creativity & Novelty Sciences compete for funds and hinder each other's progress. This paper reports on the design and initial pilot operations of a Single One-Stop Source for 18 Creativity & Novelty Sciences, all taught in relation to each other using common ground among them furnished by 60 models of creativity. It encompasses 45 models of innovation, 48 approaches to design, and, in general, a switch from academic seeking of One Right-y Model for all to bow down to, to balanced repertoires of plural models that compensate for each other's flaws and biases. A school of 9 Creativity Sciences in one 3-week session and 9 more in a second 3-week session (each course on 2 consecutive days of 10 hours). At the core of each course is a repertoire of plural diverse models approach that challenges the Single Right-y Model approach of academia.
