Abstract

This article describes an innovative new program created in 2013 at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Through the program, law students provide wills for members of the Ute Mountain Ute and Southern Ute Tribes, in the Four Corners area of Colorado. Many members of the community, including the Department of the Interior, Governor’s Office, Colorado Supreme Court, and Tribal leaders helped design the program, which turned out to be remarkably successful.
