Abstract

This amicus brief was filed in the United States Supreme Court in the child pornography case of Doyle Randall Paroline vs. Amy Unknown and United States. The brief summarizes the international legal framework that compels the United States Supreme Court to interpret the federal mandatory restitution statute (18 U.S.C. sec. 2259) in favor of child pornography victims. The brief was filed on behalf of the Dutch National Rapporteur on Trafficking Human Beings and Sexual Violence against Children in Support of Respondent Amy Unknown.
