Abstract

Social Entrepreneurship is a hot topic. Many students are passionate about making a positive difference in the world and wish to channel their passion and intellect into meaningful action. An increasing amount of universities offer opportunities for students to explore social entrepreneurship in the classroom. Many offer ways to engage with community based social enterprises to provide activity-based learning experiences. Still, many students have never really heard of Social Entrepreneurship and to some it may be a “wolf in sheep skin (Bloom & Pirson, 2010; Pirson & Bloom, 2012)” I believe that most students, especially from the new millennial generation will find social entrepreneurship appealing in many ways (Bloom & Pirson, 2010).
