This paper was prepared and presented as part of the LSU 45th Annual Estate Planning Institute. The paper explores the size, scope, and impact of financial abuse targeted at seniors. This paper then looks at the legal options available in Louisiana to prevent, combat, and seek relief from financial abuse.
