Abstract
The three Northeast Asian nations of China, Japan and South Korea are going through strategic and economic challenges, that pushed South Korea to re-initiate the trilateral summit after a hiatus of three years. The paper tries to discuss the achievements, failures and the prospects of such dialogue in the future.
