Abstract

Policy paper on proposed changes to CCS (Competition Commission Singapore) guidelines on merger procedures. Comments based on Brazilian practitioners experience, and study limited to the text of the draft proposed/revised Guidelines on Merger Procedures (CCS document). Not all relevant Singaporean legislation and regulation has been analyzed (see page 7 of the CCS document). All comments have to be analyzed under Singaporean practitioners' point of view. Includes annex with comparative chart on the relation between the budget of the antitrust authorities and the GDP in 21 selected jurisdictions.
