Abstract

The world is such a beautiful place and presents unique opportunity to all of us to realize our dreams and live the life with a purpose and contributing to betterment of the society. Human beings are the most precious creation and have huge responsibilities on the shoulders. At the same time let us not forget that the world, facing major problems of cultural clashes, insecurity, cut throat competition needs frameworks, processes and facilitators for reconciliation, pluralism, integration of views, and healthy interactions for ensuring world peace i.e. to sum up - establish धर्म (Dharm, which should not be confused with religion). Bhagwan Shri Krishn, in Geeta has advised human beings to become निमित्त (self-less doer) in any activity that is in pursuit of धर्म. In this pursuit Faculty of Management Studies - WISDOM, Banasthali Vidyapith took initiative to re-introduce the Bharatiya practice of Shaastraarth, which is a process for reaching better understanding of any concept. The aim is to contribute towards a better world.

The beauty of Bharatiya principles is that they are called शाश्वत (which can transcend time and space). So, we applied process of Shastrarth in management context, and invited two experts in field of management, who demonstrated, through a live illustration, that how शास्त्रार्थ is conducted and how it can be applied in management.
