Abstract

The report focuses on first results of the new project of the EDB Centre for Integration Studies, implemented in partnership with the Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO) of RAS. The study is in addition to the monitoring of mutual investments of the CIS countries, being implemented since 2011, and covers direct investments of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine in Europe and East Asia outside of the CIS and Georgia (including Turkey in Europe and Vietnam in Asia). The report provides an overview of the database of direct investment of the four countries in Europe and East Asia, and specifics of analysis methodology are considered.
