Abstract

If we model microeconomic systems in terms of their information processing characteristics, we may find it useful to compare our models to those produced by the discipline devoted to the study of information processing. Computer science, and in particular its sub-field of software engineering, offers perspectives that may inform our model design both by inspiring extensions and by helping us to see where revisions may be appropriate.
