Abstract

In a recent FEN-Educator, we provided information on the required finance offerings at a number of U.S. business schools. In this followup, we provide information on the elective offerings in Finance at twenty five business schools around the world. These 25 schools represent the top 20 US programs and the top 5 Non-US programs, as ranked in a Business Week survey. The information here was collected from the school's public course descriptions available on the Internet. While there has been some attempt made to categorize the courses by type, the descriptions were in some cases too vague to permit a detailed classification. Nevertheless, this information may be a useful starting point for Educators who are interested in understanding the variety of Finance courses. The document is an Excel spreadsheet which can be resorted and reclassified by the user, and it also includes web sites for each of the schools included.
