Abstract

Agritourism has long been option for farmers wishing to diversify and potentially increase business revenues. With declining farming revenues and increasing economic uncertainty, farmers have followed the trend of diversification into agritourism. In view of this a need has been developed to set certain quality standards for agritourism centres. Activities in the agritourism centres are required to be regularly monitored in order to provide best services to the customers. Meeting the quality standards also support the marketing of agritourism centres.
