Abstract
The author considers Vicki Shultz’s 2003 provocative and challenging article “The Sanitized workplace” through the lens of “Good Night, and Good Luck” a film about media journalist Edward Murrow. The author questions Shultz’ criticism of sexual harassment law as having sanitized or de-sexualized workplaces to an untenable degree, while agreeing with Shultz that courts have placed too strong a focus on sexual conduct and sexuality in recognizing actionable sexual harassment claims.
