Abstract
This essay explores the symbiotic relationship between ‘otherization,’ which is the engine of identity politics, and ‘post truth,’ as well as their combined power as cooperation inhibitors. In particular, they impede resolution of pressing legal problems by reducing our capacity for logical problem-solving and obscuring the root causes of the challenges our nation faces.
