Abstract

A number of scholars have indicated that the developed countries are doing very well in terms of services delivery to their citizens, having achieved effective implementation of public sector projects. One major reason as to why they are performing better is due to the adoption of the 21st practice called RBM. Therefore, for better performance of public sector projects in Kenya, there must be well structured and adopted RBM strategy across the projects cycle. Equally, focusing on results can help the government in better decision making when it comes to resources, monitoring the projects and accountability of the governments and public servants. The adoption of RBM strategy in public projects management can focus on the outcomes and impacts that can result in better governance and performance of public sector project.
