Fatality of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Heterogeneity

Abstract
Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells of a specific patient N have been analyzed to determine sensitivity to cisplatin. Intraoperative material was examined under sterile conditions in a culture box after pre-treatment of tissue pieces from the primary NSCLC tumor and from metastases to the lymph nodes of lung root. NSCLC tumor cells were cultivated in vials for four days and then in 24 well plates with and without cisplatin at different dosages (150.0 μg, 15.0 μg, 1.5 μg per well). High resistance of NSCLC tumor cells of patient N from the lymph nodes of lung root to cisplatin was established using an automatic enzyme immunoassay analyzer in 24 hours. In comparison with this fact, NSCLC tumor cells from the tissue of primary were killed by cisplatin. Obtained facts are the basis for considering the use of one of chemotherapy drugs recommended by international protocols (atezolizumab, ceritinib, osimertinib, and pembrolizumab) instead of cisplatin in patient N.
