Abstract

The Apostle Paul is frequently cited as the source for antinomianism - the belief that Jesus overturned the law and that is no longer has any authority. Such a view is incorrect as Paul like the other writers of scripture taught that Jesus fulfilled the law and thus the law is stratified by the blood of Jesus. However, the law still has authority and will serve as the basis for the judging of lost at the White Throne of Judgment. The false teaching of antinomianism has taken many forms throughout the Church AGe and continues to today.
